PBMS

The new website needs to be easy to use and function on mobile devices. It needs to display, search and filter all registered buyers in a manner that is easy to use and intuitive. The PBMS has 2 target markets Agents and Buyers.

My Role

This was the project designed for 23 Creative. All the designs rights are with 23 creatve. My job was to design all wireframes, UI specs, and pixel-perfect mocks. I has to work closely with the client and stakeholders to design User experience for the website .

The Challenge

For buyers

Without a large list of buyers there is no benefit for an agent to register and pay for access to the site.

Launching the site without a large list of buyers will likely set the perception that it isn't valuable.

On sign up all the fields that an agent would want to search by should be available. Initially we would suggest just keeping it very simple (name, email, phone, location & price range) and then promoting a "profile X% complete" email campaign. Maybe incorporate social media sign up?

Keeping buyers information up to date.

For Agents.

Need a system for agents and buyers to converse over the website and not directly. Simple messaging system between both parties. Drives both users back to the website to continue the conversation.

Potentially limit the amount of buyers an agent can contact in a day. Or charge to initiate contact between agents and buyers.

Stop agents from searching and emailing every buyer on the site in one go.

Wouldn't want the ability for an agent to sign up and steal the sites list of users on the first day and then leave.

Limit the buyers contact information that is displayed on search results. Maybe in search results display message like "There are X people interested in this listing".

Showing trust that buyers on the site are real people. Maybe have some type of verification system/icon.

For admin

Automated payments either buy subscription or pay per use

Moderating conversations between agents and buyers

Easily and quickly add / edit user information

Security of buyers information.

The Goal

The PBMS has 2 target markets Agents and Buyers.

Benefit for buyers is to easily register for properties in the areas they would like to purchase a property in. Potentially being first in for off market purchases.

01 Design Process

The first step of the design process involved was to user interviews and desk research to understand how users and competitors behave. As this helps in understanding the user flow and creating wireframes that helps in better understanding.
